Terms of use and engagement

Effective 15 August 2026

Acceptance and scope

By using this website, you accept these website terms. A professional engagement begins only when Codeframebase and the client confirm scope, fee and delivery in writing. Website articles are general information about working time in Germany and do not constitute advice on facts we have not reviewed.

Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate, lawfully obtained documents, identify relevant deadlines, and avoid sending unnecessary personal or special-category data. Advice depends on the completeness of the rota, records, contract terms and instructions supplied. Clients remain responsible for workplace decisions and for obtaining representation where litigation or regulatory proceedings require it.

Fees, appointments and delivery

Fees and payment stages appear in the written engagement. Appointment changes, refunds and work already started are governed by our refund policy. Delivery dates may change if agreed documents arrive late or the scope materially expands; we will explain any proposed change before incurring additional fees.

Intellectual property

Codeframebase owns the website text, visual identity, templates and general guidance, subject to third-party image and font licences. Clients may use a consultation note internally for the matter commissioned and may share it with their legal, tax or employee representative. It may not be sold, published or represented as a general certification without written permission.

Liability

We provide services with reasonable care based on agreed scope and supplied information. To the extent permitted by law, Codeframebase is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or decisions based solely on general website material. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory consumer rights.

We do not guarantee how an employer, employee, authority or court will interpret disputed evidence. The client must alert us to imminent limitation periods, hearings or termination dates; a standard enquiry does not stop time from running.

Links to legislation or third-party information are provided for context. We do not control their availability or later amendments. Website access may be interrupted for maintenance or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without displacing mandatory consumer protections. Where legally permissible, Berlin is the place of jurisdiction. Consumers may also have rights to bring claims in the courts available under mandatory law. Please contact info@codeframebase.digital first so a concern can be addressed directly.

Changes and severability

We may update these terms prospectively by posting a new effective date. Existing engagements remain governed by their agreed terms. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
